SPICE MIX FOR CHRISTMAS FRUIT CAKE

This spice mix is made of whole spices which are essential for preparing Christmas cakes. Ingredients given below cater for 5 kg of cakes.

Ingredients

1. Cinnamon stick – 50 gm

2. Cardamom – 10

3. Cloves – 8

4. Nutmeg – 1

5. Mace – 1

6. Dry ginger – 3 inch piece

Preparation

1. Heat all ingredients in a pan or in hot sun and make a fine powder.

2. Store it in air tight jar.
