NO BAKE CHOCOLATE BISCUIT CAKE

This is an easy mouth-watering recipe for a perfect tasty and indulgent dessert.


Ingredients

1.    Butter – 150 gm

2.   Caramel syrup (golden syrup) – 100 ml

3.    Dark chocolate – 150 gm

4.    Biscuits – 225 gm

5.    Mini marshmallows – 50 gm

6.    Gems – 50 gm

7.    Vanilla essence – 1 tsp (optional)

For the glaze

1.    Dark chocolate – 50 gm

2.    Unsalted butter – 2 Tbsp

3.    Sugar powder – 25 gm

4.    Double cream – 40 ml

5.    Sprinkles to garnish


Preparation

1.    Grease and line a round cake tin.

2.    Melt the butter, caramel syrup and chopped chocolate in a pan over low heat. Once melt add vanilla essence.

3.    Stir all the ingredients well and mix together.

4.    Let it cool a little and add the broken biscuits, marshmallows and gems. Stir well to combine evenly.

5.    Transfer to the prepared cake tin. Level it on top and press down well to avoid air bubbles.

6.    Cover and refrigerate for 4-5 hours or until solid and set.

7.    For the glaze. Melt the chocolate and butter in a small pan. When melted remove from the heat and mix sugar powder and double cream. Allow to cool until the mixture becomes thick.

8.    Pour over the cake after it is almost set. Garnish with sprinkles and let it set in room temperature before cutting.


Tips

1.    Roasted and chopped nuts can also be added along with the biscuits.

2.    It can be prepared in small moulds also.
